Managing Twitter with Hootsuite

Are you having a hard time keeping up with Twitter?

Hootsuite, a social media management tool, might be a good solution for you. They offer a variety of plans (hootsuite.com/plans).  Their basic plan is free to use and allows for up to 3 social profiles.

Basically, Hootsuite is a dashboard where you can get a full view of all your social activity in one place and schedule content.
I like to use Hootsuite for Twitter management.  It allows you to schedule tweets in advance, oversee a specific hashtag and pay attention to mentions of your brand.

For example, we are helping one of our customers manage their social media during a large gala event with a specific hashtag. We are able to schedule tweets to go out during the event and monitor the timetable.  We can also keep an eye on all posts by others that are using the event’s hashtag or who are mentioning us in their content. Being able to scan all activity in one place makes it easy to respond quickly and engage with others, especially during a live event.

Recently Hootsuite made it easier to add photos for tweets through their dashboard. They have found that Tweets with images get more engagement than posts without images.
